Transfer switches dont hold circuiots in them. They switch power from stripe power to back up, your circuits stay surrounded by the breaker box.
Relatively expensive because it involves a complex sensing system. You will need to power the sensor from your auxiliary supply or freestyle in directive for it to work on main power fiasco. I am not so familiar beside residential units.
