Behr paint not drying as it should?

I painted one side of my house and decking area with Behr House & Fence solid stain which should have dried to the touch in a few hours, and completely overnight. It's still a bit tacky. What's up with that? All the surface had been cleaned and completely dried, and weather was good. I had used this product before and did not have this problem. I did apply it this time with a Wagner sprayer and did delute it slightly with water for the sprayer. The paint is a water base product. We may get some rain in a day or so and I'm a bit concerened.

Depending on the humidity ,where you live, you should maybe add a dryer to the paint.

The product is bad. If it's a latex stain, and you thinned it with water(which you don't do anymore), and it's tacky, somethings wrong. Are you sure it wasn't an oil base stain? Latex doesn't get tacky, and stain is an absorbent, so it should soak into the wood.
My guess is one or more gallons were oil based and got mixed in with the latex. Go back to Home Depot and get them to send a Behr rep. out to your house. They will look at the problem and compensate you if it's the products fault.
