What do u do when the water goes down the drain REAL slow?
Answers:
Try plunging it. If that doesn't work use draino or some other drain cleaner. Let it sit for 30 minutes. If that doesn't work try plunging it again. Get a "snake" which is a wire coil that you can stick down the drain and spin to clean out the pipe.
Repeat until your sanity runs out.

Draino.
Draino.
take a coat hanger and stick it down the drain....There may be hair in the trap that is clogging it up......Liquid plumber works too......
Get a plunger and plunge the drain. There are also a lot of commercially available clog cleaners like Liquid-plumr, etc. Usually a plunger makes a decent improvement. If you're really feeling adventurous, you can go buy a "drain snake" at a hardware store or home center. You can usually get a 20 or 30 foot one. This is what your plumber would use if you called him.
Probably a clog made of hair and soap. Looks like a dead mouse...or rat. There are special springs, snake, to clean those pipes. Buy or rent one.
Liquid version works to but this is environmentally sane and lasts a lot longer. Cheaper also after 2 uses.
It's probally just hair, try a liquid plumber or alka seltzerdown the drain with hot water.
Could be just a lot of hair and "****". Get a plumber's snake and snake it out. Don't call a plumber unless you're married to Rockerfeller.

Draino or some industrial stuff will do, but be carefull. If Draino does not work ,its time to call a plumber
Get a plunger. It will clear it in no time with a little work
You can try drain cleaner or a "SNAKE". Plumbers snake is just a wire or spring that "chases" the drain to clean any clogs
take the plug out and feel for if sumthing is in there. if not it could be clogged with hair, so buy some drain-o and pour it down there. also check ur basement to make sure ur sewer drain isnt flowing back into the house, cause if u notice any water residue around the drain u will need a plumber to come and run a snake (its a plumbing tool) thru ur drain. the sewer drain can be clogged by tree roots under ground and/or too much thick toilet paper being flushed down the toilet.
I use pure Clorox bleach let set overnight put some water in tub and plunge with plunger.
For future reference if you pour bleach (a good dose) down every drain in house once a month this will never be a problem
Use a plunger. If it's hair and slop it will come out. If your kids plugged it with a toy that you can't see to remove then if you don't want to attempt it yourself you need a plumber.
I wouldn't blame the kids just yet. The drain from the tub curves in a rather sharp way and collects hair and soap scum, which together make a nasty clog.
I have never used liquid Drano successfully in this situation. Drano makes a couple different things now, including a foaming drain cleaner which is supposed to stay around the clog to dissolve it longer. I have my doubts.
My choice to clean out a tub clog (before calling a plumber) is to find a plastic device with a circular handle on it. The plastic has been serrated. You simply push it down the tub drain as far as you can and then carefully bring it back up. It should be full of hair and all kinds of nasty surprises. If you aren't careful bringing it back up though, you'll break off the little barbs on the plastic which grab the clog. Good Luck!
DO NOT USE DRAINO OR LIQUID PLUMBER PLEASE. These solvents are not only temporary, but can ultimately bury the problem further down the line, making it a costlier repair. Using a coat hanger can also be risky, as old tub traps sometimes rot out to paper thickness and then you have a nice leak. If you have access to the plumbing from below or behind, check to see if the trap is removable (tubular compression type). If not, call a plumber. If there is a drum-type trap, you may be able to open the drum and fish out the problem. It's most likely hair, but you should call a plumber, just to be safe.
