I purchased a track system with 5 fixtures x 50watts and 300 watt transformer. The transf. stoped working a couple of weeks after I installed it. I get it replaced. Is there something I should be looking for to avoid this replacement transformer from failing on me? Its a simple electrics to my existing light fixture box - green ground, black to black and white to white. There is no dimmer any, just a simple switch. Any suggestions?
Answers: It sounds similar to you did every thing right. It is in recent times a simple wireing job. You proably only had the unpromising luck to get a desperate transformer. It does happen. The solitary other thing is if you accidently shorted the wires for a second when you be hooking them up. Good Luck.
