Washer and Dryer, make the vibrations stop !?

Hi, hope someone can help...
i have new hotpoint washer and dryers in my kitchen on laminate flooor (wooden floorboard underneath) and the vibration noise is very loud when in use... anyone have a good tip on how to reduce the vibration noise passing through the flooring?

Answers:
the legs on the bottom of both should be slef-levelers or manual levelers. if they are the manual type you will have to adjust them to get you washer and dryer level. then the vibration should be reduced. if the are self-leveling then you might have to put something under them like a piece of cardboard or rubber to adjust the vibration and noise against the floor. hope this helps.

Other answers:
get some insulating foam, the kind used in recording studios, lay a sturdy board on top and put the machines on that. it might help.

Very important for it to be on a level floor, what you can also do is squeeze large pieces of foam into the gaps surrounding the unit - if there are any. This wil dampen the "rocking" If you get really desperate you may also be able to put foam underneath, if you can get it under there easily. Putting weight on top can also help, but keeping it there can be a problem
Make sure they are level. If that doesn't help, call a professional
The people who delivered the set should have leveled it for you, as some machines are only half self-leveling. Get yourself a good 2-foot level, and level it three ways along top edges. Be sure to use a balanced load, and try not to overload the dryer with a lot of wet heavy items (i.e. 30 pairs of wet jeans). Alternatively, invest $20 at your local farm supply for a nice piece of cow-matting. It's about 3/4" thick rubber matting that's very heavy and eliminates vibrations well.
