I have get the door frame but find there is nought to fix it to as there is a cavity negated. What is the best way to circumnavigate this problem?

Answers: You attach it ( screw or expanding foam ) to the outside brick course.
set it subsidise 25mm from the outside edge.
You cover the cavity beside dry lining ( plasterboard & plaster )
You used to enjoy a turn of bricks to bridge the gap but to be exact now out of the building regs as it be a heat loss.
