I have mold growing on my wall?
Answers:
It comes from moisture, dust, human cells, just about any and everything. There is a type of mold called stachybotrys out there that can be deadly. Follow the links below. You should have it checked out to be on the safe side.

Bleach will usually work, but depending on how bad the growth is and what type of mold (is it black) you might have to call in an expert.

You get mold because of the humidity levels. If you have a heater, turn it on from time to time. That stuff will damage clothing & such. If you have dry wall, you may need to re do it. If you have cinder block walls, you can scrub it off. Sometimes lighting a candle will help slow it down, because of the heat it lets off.
use de humidifier for now and investigate when heating season is on sometimes humidifier is set yo hi and brings unwanted mouisture
85/15 mixture of bleach with water sprayed 3 times a day. Make sure to wear a dust mask as mold spores can lead to breathing issues.
It is caused due to ideal growing conditions check the moisture level of the basement and the lighting. A good dehumidifier can inhibit the growth of mold.
Mold grows rapidly in moist areas. Bleach will kill it instantly, but it doesn't stop it from coming back. You need to make sure it's not IN the walls, though. That can be very unhealthy and expensive to repair.
Never mind, just get rid of it. You may need to drain the house ground, but start by washing the wall w a chlorine solution & put a dehydrator in yer basement for at least 5 weeks. If mould stays away, run dehydrator frequently during the *wet* seasons.
I crawled underneath a house with mold problems and bleach is the best way to get rid of mold. Most like the reason you have mold in your basement is because of moisture and cracks in wall.
Get a dehumidifier and run it in the basement. Also bleach works great, but make sure the bleach is new. Believe it or not, bleach has a short shelf life and will degrade into salt and water at a rate of 20% or more a year. Since there is such a low percentage of bleach to start with, you can find yourself with a very dilute solution in no time (especially if it was on a shelf for awhile before you bought it and then it sat on your shelf for awhile) Good thing it's cheap. Also, bleach does not work as well with hot water. Use cold water.
the are is wet or ground water is slowly seeping . if you have dry wall remore it . all of it . mold can spread into vents and though out the house . mold can be dangerous and should be removed . bleach may hide it but will spread it to for the next out burst . there are paints and sealers that have mold killer in it to prevent out breaks on block walls . all in all it has to be removed from house
