Central Air component, doesn't cool satisfactory?
Answers: As Alan said involve more info as a mechanical inspector in that could be a list of problems i could suppose of. Sizing of the unit and duct work itself could be wrong. Is it a 1 or 2 story home? If 2 story and useing one part for both floors and not being a zoned component this causes key issues. Provide us a little in-sight.
i would check the filter first (i assume you already have), and except, then check the component outside (the fan)
the case surrounding the adherent may be clogged with dirt and stuff and may be preventing nouns circulation.
just turn the section off and spray it down near a hose.
if those dont work, it may either involve to be recharged or may be too small- i dont know, but the first 2 things are really cheap and cause more problems than anything else.
Same as first answer but when checking outside section turn breaker off to it and run cover off and be sure to hose down inside coils too. Let dry a short time ago in covering you get hose on electrical part consequently put back together and turn breaker rear on.
Do u mean 20* drop from outside temp or 20* drop from return nouns to supply air. If u own 20* drop from retrun to supply thats great.Need little more info.
It could be undersized but check some other things first. Go to www.hvac-for-beginners.com Check out the page on air conditioner keep and the page on air conditioner troubleshooting.
