Ge (side-by-side) fridge problems?
Answers: give the name the place where you bought it and report them you need to hold someone come and check it cause it does not come across to be operating properly and you should not have to money for this cause it should still be underneath warranty . good luck .
I have the same problem next to my new GE side-by-side also & the circuit board that controls the dispensing of hose, ice cubes, crushed rime, needed to be replaced. That panel flips off & the latest board pops right in. We hadn't used it that long when the problem occured but once the service man replaced the board, it have worked beautifully ever since.
You may own to remove the dispensing unit and see if it plugged contained by, If it is still under warranty next have them transport you a new element, You could have a defective switch or section . Be sure to unplug the fridge before you do this. Everything any clips or screws into plug, It's effortless to do.
All appliances carry a 1yr manufacture warranty. Besides the fact that you in recent times purchased it. Kate and 43 are correct. Get the company that you bought it from to shoulder the burden or phone GE. Unfortunately, all unsullied fridges are designed to fail and they do. Some are worse than others. I resembling GE because I work on them and have adjectives the parts in my truck. I find Kitchenaid and adjectives Maytag products the worst, including Jenn-air. and like 43 said, Kenmores may be made by anybody, but you recount by who by the first 3 numbers of the Model no.
