When i be working 4 an AC service and maintance company, it surprised me that ppl were have more trouble with NEWER unit than with the elder units. surrounded by my time working 4 that company, i have concluded that elder units 15-20 YRS are only just WELL PUT TOGETHER and if maintained they can ultimate a life-time. These newer units be forced by the government to be more ENVIROMENTALLY FRIENDLY. but I would insist on u to replace the unit, its more money, but contained by the long run itll give u smaller quantity hassle
