It WORKED THIS MORRING AND WE HAD TO CHANGE OUT FUSES ON SOME OTHER PLUGS IN HOUSE ,BUT WE PULLED WRONG FUSES .PUT THEM BACK . WILL NOT CUT ON AT ALL now .CHECKED FUSES AND THEY ARE FINE .WE ALSO PULLED SWITCH OUT SIDE OF HOUSE BY THE UNIT DIDNT HELP .

It sounds like you have an older style fuse box. If it is the one I am thinking of if you put the pull switch block in upside down, it will go in, but will actually disconnect the A/C condenser. Try turning it back around. There should be a mark on the side that says on or off when you put it back together. Also make sure the fuses are the right amperage, and are tight in the holder. Loose fuses can be a problem and cause heat in the fuse box. Make sure the switch on the side of the house is in right also. It can work the same way. If it is backwards, it will disconnect the A/C power. Good luck!
