How do I reprogram a "Overhead Door" Garage Door? I'm pretty sure its the Legacy model.?

We just moved into a new house and was not given the garage door code to open the door from the outside. I've been trying since we've moved in to figure it out! I can get into the garage with a handheld garage door opener. But I forget it alot and would like to be able to use the one thats attached to the house

The unit should have a set or program button on it under the cover. Push it and click the remote at it when it quits flashing it's ready. Not all models have this semi auto set feature but I think this one does. If you run into problems contact the Mfg. and have all the info on it available, model serial# etc. Make sure your battery is fresh. The wall code should work the same way

Your best bet would be to either call up the manufacturer of the door opener,more then likely they would be able to resolve this problem for you. (you might want to write down the numbers on the unit be fore you call).
