You can get indoor scaffolding which is held up by a jack.

a jack should work while you put in a header
The technique is to put small holes above where the RSJ is going, put timber (4x4) pins through and support the wall with acroprops. This is specialised work requiring the proper equipment. If you've never been involved in it before, get someone who has to supervise.
Ever heard the record 'Right Said Fred' (not to be confused with the group of the same name) ;o)
YOU DON'T
if you need to ask get a builder!!!!!!
Very carefully and in the correct sequence of steps. You might want to consider hiring this done if you are not certain of what you are doing. Proper support for the existing load is critical. You may want to at least have a structural engineer take a look at it with you.
use steel RSJ seek advise from a builder.
If you have to ask then your not a builder, and if your not a builder I wouldnt attempt it if I were you. One wrong move and the whole lot could come down. Call the pros
