What is the best way to get oil stains off my drive way?
Acid is hard to work with.

Tide laundry detergent, your water hose and a scrub brush or shop broom. Wet the spots, generously pour Tide onto them, let them sit a little while, scrub them (add more water if you need to), rinse them. May have to be repeated.

Use a concentrated washing machine detergent. I saw it work once but Im not really sure how great it will work in your circumstance
cat litter. leave it on there for a few hours, and it soaks it right up. Then use a big broom and brush up the litter.

chalk. color over the stains and put soap over and wash it off.
Use gasoline, no joke, it will remove oil or grease from a vehicle, but DO NOT USE ON BLACKTOP - only on concrete. and then use soap and water to spray it off, do not leave it on or it will stain.

yea i would deffinately have to say cat liter..what u do is sprinkle it over the oil let it soak then clean it up and then use some more and rub it into the driveways...works all the time for me
Paint entire drive way. Make sur to put down a good primer using KILZ driveway a concrete primer so the stains won't bleed through
Kitty litter is the best first application. Soak up as much as possible and continue till the stain is just a stain and not a wet spot. Then take fresh kitty litter and sprinkle a thin layer over the stain. Take a brick or other heavy object with a large flat surface and set it on the layer of kitty litter. Now take the brick/object and with a slow swirling motion and down force on the kitty litter grind it into a fine powder. Do this as long as you need to soak up 98% of the stain. Then sweep up the kitty litter. For the final clean up put "Simple Green" undiluted onto the remnants of the stain and with a stiff broom/brush scrub it vigorously for 10 - 15 minutes and then hose and broom the suds over the entire driveway while rinsing it off.
