A new fuse box?
Answers:
about 150 UK pounds would be about right. If you are replacing the fuse box remember to get one which has a few extra fuses than your present one, so that if at any time in the future you want to extend or add to your electrical system, you can do it.
Many people specify MK when relacing these boxes. Otherwise the installer will use the one which is most profitable for him.

I would estimage about £100 or so - a qualified electrician shouldn't take more than an hour to do the job, and the parts won't cost much either.

Depends on how many circuit breakers and If you are willing to supply the fuse box, it really depends on the size o fthe house and how many electrical appliances you are going to run. you need a dedicated one each for cooker and shower. Small fuse boxes start at around 80 adn the bigger ones can be in excess of 200. you can get them at DIY stores and an electrican will charge around 80 - 150 quid
I think the rainproof GE 40 breaker boxes run close to $300.Depending on where you are the labor could run $500 so budget at least $1k
it depends on how much amperage you need . better known as breaker box . most homes need 100 amp service to serve all elect. in the home. $ 1000 to $2000
If you haven't had a complete rewire in the last 15 years expect a hell of a bill. The chap you get to give you an estimate will take a long intake of breath through his teeth and proclaim the house to be unsuitable for habitation. You will be so scared you will agree to the whole lot being ripped out and you had better check your bank balance. I should wait a few years and the problem might go away.
