When is the best time to fill my oil tank for the start of winter?

Answers:
When you think the price of oil is the lowest, which probably won't be in the middle of the winter. The oil can be stored indefinitely, with additives available from your oil supplier to stop algae growth and water condensation formation. The Mid Atlantic cost per gallon is about $2.50/ gallon right now. Have the oil company "stick" your tank and check for water in the bottom of the tank that causes rust through.
