my 3 year old trane a/c for my home isint putting out as much air it should be.?

any suggestions why its not putting out enought air it just got more freon and new filter and we cleaned the coils and the vents are not obstructed are there any reasons why it might be not working right and do you have any idea how i can improve airflow.

Sounds like you have a leaking duct. Check in the attic or crawl space and check all the runs. If the air is on you will notice right away from the temperature difference in the area you are checking.

try replacing the filters and cleaning the vents. don't forget the second filter (up high in the vent) I didn't even know there was a second filter for the first 2 years we had ours.

make sure the fan is clean. all a/c units i have ever dealt with have a "sqirrel cage" fan. it looks like a hamster wheel. if the fins on it get very much dirt/dust built up on them the fan wont work worth a flip.
