I want to vent the exhaust from my generator out of the garage. What is the best way to do this?
Answers:
Here is a bright idea. Don't run it in your garage! Use your head and be safe.

You can buy exhaust hose that will do the job for you. If you want a permanent job you can vent up high through the wall. Too low and you could cause problems with hot exhaust fumes.
Otherwise just vent via the hose out of a window.

Vent it with a high heat-grade tubing out a hole several feet away from the genny. Also, be sure you have adequate fresh air coming in. You don't want carbon monoxide death/brain damage. Be sure that the hole you cut to vent the exhaust is wrapped in an insulated metal bracket so you don't set your house on fire.
Maybe you should in hale it all. Why would you be so stupid to use it in a inclosed area? Stand there and breath it in.
