"T" connector?
Answers:
It's more of a "Y" connector.
They're usualy in the garden section with hoses, sprinklers, and stuff in hardware stores.
If you're going to use hot water, go with the metal ones (without the little shut off valves.
Try Lowe, Home Depot, or Ace.

T type connector is enough but bring sample so they can see the size you need.

Some d/w do have a heating element=which can be used to aid in heating up the incoming fill water if it"s not hot enough=the d/w will not start to operate til it is hot=it"s also used to "sanitize " the dishes at end of cycle. Also to dry the dishes. But==I have never seen a washer with a heating element built into it. Better check again before you make that "cut". Good Luck.
The best way to supply your dishwasher (although it's a little more complicated to install) is to replace your cut-off valve with a multiport type. You will have to turn off the water and pull your cut-off and replace it (using Teflon tape to seal the pipe) but the resulting flow will be much more satisfactory than any saddle approach. If you have basic repair skills then this is an easy job. Additionally if you tap your hot water supply you will help your dishwasher last longer and shorten your cycle time.
I would suggest purchasing a new valve for under the sink, one with two handles and water connections. They make these in both screw-on and compression fitting. This way, if you have to turn off the water to one thing, the other still works.
