How do you drain the fuel out of a sward mower?
Answers: While it is possible to disconnect the hoses from the bottom of the tank, it usually funds spilling some all over the place.
Sta-bil is a outstandingly good product to use. (no call for to drain).
I used to siphon it out, If you do this use a squeeze-bulb type and not by mouth. you can get one from an auto parts store for a few dollars.
What I enjoy done to all of my power equipment is install a BRASS T-fitting surrounded by the gas hose along with an extra 1/4 turn shut off spigot, When the season is over it is as easy as turning a knob while holding a gas can underneath.
Then start the engine,it will allow the gas surrounded by the lines/fuel-bowl to be used up. Usually takes something like a minute or so.
Running the engine to empty it is a leftovers of gas and it just puts unneeded wear on the engine.
Use the gas surrounded by your other equipment or put it in your motor.
DON'T pour it down the drain or on the ground
GOOD LUCK and happy Lawn-Mowering --IC
