Why do the doors on my kitchen cupboards hang open? They will not close. What can I do to fix them?

We just moved into an older house. I love my kitchen, but, the cupboard doors are driving me crazy. I am pretty handy at fixing things, I just need some tips on how to repair this problem.

Answers:
first try adjusting the old hinges to see if you can get them aligned properly so they stay closed..
also you can try putting magnetic tape on the door and on the wood work..this is an easy fix and fair inexpensive too.
also you can but cabinet magnets...to keep them closed..not to bad for price either..this WILL work..
it not

go to Home Depot or Lowes and talk to the guys there..they can show you what you can purchase to replace the old hinges
you can replace all the hinges with ones that self close..

good luck

Get in touch with the original kitchen company (if you know them). In my experience they fix things like that 4 free.
Put new hindges on the doors. They might be out of line due to people leaning on them. News hindges will fix this problem.
Snug up the screws on all of the hinges, if that fails then you have a warpage problem, or house settlement problem.
i agree with jack on the hinges issue... also using the magnets should help too

You need to have self-closing hinges installed on the doors.
