I would suggest the following supplies--Scotch Brite (Green scrubber) for taking the moss off most stones
There are many moss killers and moss prevention sealants on the market. Using a scraper (plastic or wood) and brush, soap and water, and some arm work, clean the stone as best as you can. Then apply a moss killer. After a few days, apply the moss prevention sealant to inhibit regrowth.
