How do you wire a tecumseh engine?

My Tecumseh engine runs great but does not shut off when I turn the key off. What wire turns it off? Is it the wire to the coil?

The kill wire hooked to the switch .......the switch may be bad and not making contact or may not be grounded to short out the magneto.
