I posted this ahead of time and tried plunging for an hour. A box and a partly of cooked spaghetti clogged my sink!?

I put a box and a half of cooked spaghetti down the disposal end night. Within 30 second, my dual sink would not drain on one side, then the other. I enjoy tried the plunging method for an hour. My brother in decree said he has never see a clog this difficult. Is spaghetti that difficult? I will try Drano overnight? He is going to bring the snake tomorrow. Will the snake do the trick? I just finished paying stale school loans and am broke and am hoping the snake will work. He said spaghetti be never a problem for his house and it may be an overall drainage problem but it is way too coincidental. I am so silly at myself. Any help would be sooooo welcome.

Answers:    I think draino will do the trick.
I don't regard as it was WHAT you threw into it ...
but how much. lol
don't verbs...everyone makes mistakes ~
one time I boiled some eggs dry and they exploded adjectives over my kitchen Pee- uuuu.
what a smell :) we couldnt go home for 2 days!
Don't drano your disposal....ugh!
Hold one side shut beside a cover and towel. Take the top off your sprayer, insert it into the other side, push it within, get another towel and hold it over. Build up pressure it will shove it out!
The snake will probably work. Pasta is purely like rice... it swells beside water. No channel to really get it out but replace the pipes or chew it out....honourable luck!
Why don't you take the drain loose and verbs out the clog. It is very simple to do and sorta straightforward to put back
for starters a disposal is for bits and bobs not meals. the snake should do the trick . i hope it is a 50 footer 25 ft. are uncommonly long enough. for adjectives info. never pour hamburger grease down the sink either.
Look lower than the sink. Now, do you see where the bend is contained by the pipe? There should be a shortish curved pipe there call the trap. Take it off and verbs it out. DON'T do the Drano of you're going to have it snaked. Snaking would almost clearly clear the clog if it's just spaghetti. If clearing the trap doesn't work, snaking is your best subsequent option. You should probably snake from where on earth the two drains meet beneath the sink, and on down. I hate junk disposals, mine caused more trouble than it be ever worth. I took mine out.
Last year the exact same thing happen to me except when I got my sink plunged so that river would drain the spaggetti and water come up out of my downstairs shower and laundry room drain. I used a snake and that did the trick. I have impressively sensative pipes because of 3 100ft+ trees that were contained by my backyard. Although the trees have be gone for over a year the roots still seek sea and creep into my pipes. I do a yearly maintance of a root clearing substance that I put into my pipes in a minute and the flooding seems to enjoy slowed. Good Luck.
I doubt the drano will work. Hopefully the snake will work. I've never had problems near spaghetti but I've had problems next to too many potato peelings surrounded by disposal. ALOT of plunging helped though. Also when I be making applesauce once I put way too tons cooked apple peeling mush contained by the disposal. I plunged like crazy and nought worked. I ended up hiring a plumber the subsequent day and he have a real tough time getting it unclog. But he did fix it. He said the apple mush expands in the drain and that's the problem. I suspect I don`t know the cooked spaghetti expanded as well. I be sooo mad at myself too. I know it's a throbbing for you right now, but it will bring back fixed and everything will be ok. Just remember to put small amounts of stuff in the disposal. Good luck.
No Draino. First of adjectives, when the draino does not work, then you will win draino all over you and everything when the pipes hold to be taken apart. So, since the clog is probably near the sink, (at lowest if you haven't plungered in even farther down) Wait for your brother surrounded by law, you hold to take the pipe apart lower than the sink to put the snake in anyway. Prepare to spend in the region of a dollar on a couple of new gaskets when you put the pipe fund together. Hope the pipes aren't too old. Next time put the spagetti within the trash or the toilet.
should of never did it lolz
NO DRANO!!! read our lips: NO DRANO!!!! Got it? it can burn and/or blind whoever wind up working on the plumbing. that s*it ought to be illegal. NO DRANO!!! Same point for LiquidPlumber, Acid drain cleaner, lye, etc.: DON'T USE THEM.!!! Take a solid-metal stopper and plug the dispoze-all's top, and hold the stopper down with one foot while you plunge the hell out of the other sink-drain. Failing that, disassemble the "p" trap (shaped like a 'u') lower than the sink and have a bucket below it, hopefully the spaghetti will slither out. You might also have spaghetti within the drain pipe that goes into the wall: that's where on earth the snake comes in handy.
Boiling marine before drain cleaner. Baking soda surrounded by drain then dump vinager surrounded by fast like a shot plug drain hole this works for mild clogs & is non toxic.
Take the U shaped sink trap off & verbs the garbage out. Sometimes a wet/dry shop vac works wonders.
You might enjoy to remove the disposer & pipes. Be careful if you already used chemicals. Keep the pasta raining otherwise it will dry out & harden.
Have fun!
