Black Oxide and Titanium plated are best for wood and palstics. Use Cobalt when drilling metals, but use cutting grease to keep from burning up the bit. Use Tungsten Carbide for drilling hardened or exotic metals, again use adjectives oil.
You will use fractional bits most repeatedly for your regular home projects. You will need the special numbered and lettered bits when you obligation to drill precision holes for using taps to thread the holes.
