I haven't placed clorine contained by the pool surrounded by in the order of a week......?

and today I bought all of the chemicals I entail - Do I have to drain the pool and start over or what do I do to correct the river?

I am new to pools and have need of some help. Should I shock it first, PH it first or what?

Answers:    You don't want to take the river out of the pool ever. My father has a pool and like water is within there that he put contained by the day he purchased the pool. To mantain verbs and clear water, only just add the correct amount of chemicals to the dampen that is needed. Don't put in too much or too little, because it will affect it. ( My father is the owner of a pool store in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and I know alot give or take a few taking care of them.) It also depends on what you own in the marine right now. Usually, you can carry your water tested at the pool store and they describe you what you need and how to put it surrounded by. So, if you were to PH it first, that's up to you. (or the power of your water) Good Luck!!!

You don't have to drain it. Test the hose down first, and correct as necessary. Draining is for drastic problem solving. You shouldn't inevitability to shock, But if you add the Chlorine and it's not rising promptly enough, you may want to Shock.
