Better to build a home or grasp a double huge?
Answers: If you are'nt planning to resell, you can get more house for your money by going beside a manufactured home ( not a trailerhouse ) Thing is, they really don't appreciate in helpfulness much over time, even if put on a high aspect permanent foundation. For definite investment, and value growth, a stick built home is the better choice, but will cost more. You can take with a builder that works near you, and has you do what you can during the construction, from as little as site cleanup, and shovel - worker type grunt work, to wallcoverings and interior finish work. This can reduce construction costs, and can be a pretty suitable deal if you are biddable at managing projects. Manufactured homes cost less becuse they are factory - built. but they very soon use 2X6 construction, and the latest superinsulating technique. they can be very pious homes if you buy carefully, and aren't looking for deeply of value increase
A contractor will not build a fresh home for less than 200,000 dollars from my experience. It is better within my opinion, to buy an elder home, sell for a profit following on and then build a home once you know you wont be moving.
I instinctively would build a home . I have lived contained by trailers and home. I prefer homes in the long run. Houses better resell expediency than trailer do years later.
Yes it is possible to join onto a double wide and build a house around it.
