Deck - Cedar 20' x 10' cost? 3/4" x 4" boards? What is a logical cost for this, materials single?

Having a deck built and am curious how much materials would cost on a 20 foot by 10 foot cedar deck using 3/4 inch by 4 inch boards.

Also, about how much would a 6' by 8' deck cost next to the same materials?

Answers:    I simply finished building a 8x16 deck a few days ago. I used composite decking because of the lower maintenence and lower cost than cedar. My deck cost right at $1000 for me to rent a power post hole digger to set sonotubes and adjectives of the materials to build and finish it. I did the work my self. 3/4 inch boards are not suitable for a deck surface. You should use 2x4 or 2x6 boards for the deck surface or go near composite decking.
I don't know, but a plastic deck material would be smaller amount maintenance. It would cost more initially, but it would be cheaper over the long tug.

note: if your contractor buys from a builder supply lumber patio, the material costs will be greater than if you go to a Home Depot type of store.
I would not recommend using 3/4" boards for the walking surface, there will be too much "spring" contained by them. I suggest using 1 1/2" boards with the floor joist at any 16" or 24" on center.
