IS IT SAFE TO INSTALL A GAS DRYER? (why or why not)?
what are the reason why?
i know gas dryers arent very much within use these days, folks have be upgrading to electric dryers.
i know there is alot of controvercy over this topic.
is it undisruptive?
Answers: Hello,It depends...is the Gas Pipe ALREADY THERE? If so, yes...JUST MAKE SURE ALL FITTINGS ARE TIGHT!!!!!!! IT IS SAFE if no one surrounded by the home has have chemical illnesses...and IT IS FREE OF LEAKS!!! If you install...Make sure the on off fiddle with is in the past its sell-by date position before removing "CAP" past its sell-by date gas pipe (They should all be "CAPPED" when not hooked up to dryer, stove, river heater, furnace.)..and hold Plumbers tape ..use it contained by all joint...Next step...Get spray bottle...mix 1/4 cup of dish liguid with 1/8 cup sea....allow to sit for a few minutes....SPRAY ALL AREAS OF PIPING, especially at joints....dawdle 10 min......look to see if any bubbles forming....some of it may look like spit rolling past its sell-by date on to floor....TINY bubbles...if so....leak....revise...tighten more or start all over beside the taping....I know electric is more expensive...BE CAREFUL....Natural gas can do more than asphicate you or blow you up.....if leak...it can cause you to become sick beside unusual symptoms...For more info on gas...visit my net site...
