The toilet is possessed....?

Well not really, but what the heck is wrong with it? I flushed it roughly speaking 15 minutes ago. And about every two minutes since consequently, it has started making a roar like "taptaptaptaptap" really in haste for about 15 second. What's wrong with it and how can I fix it? There is nought visible going on surrounded by the toilet. Thank you!
