home remidies for cleaning laminate floor?
Answers:
ANYONE WHO SUGGEST YOU USE BLEACH ON LAMINATE FLOORING REALLY CANT CARE ABOUT THE WARRANTY , I INSTALL FLOORING FOR A LIVING AND FURNITURE POLISH IS FUN FOR A PRANK IF YOU WANT EVERYONE TO FALL ON THIER BUTTS, USE WINDEX OR A LAMINATE FLOOR CLEANER FROM YOUR LOCAL HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE , BUT THE CHEMICALS ARE THE SAME , AND WINDEX IS CHEAPER, VINEGAR WORKS , BUT THE SMELL IS HORRIBLE AND YOU SHOULD NOT USE WATER ON LAMINATE FLOORS.

I usually clean it with water mixed with Bleach. Use about a cup of bleach to a gallon of water. After it dries, I spray it with furnature polish and use a dry mop to mop it up. This works for light scratches. If you have a heavy scratch apply liquid polish directly with a rag.

Again I will say vinger water..... it is the best cleaner out there and home made, add two and a half cap fulls in to a squirt bottle and then fill the rest with water, same in bucket of water but add 4 cap fulls to two quarts bucket .... then mop or clean floor as you always do... also suggestion for those kind of floors you might want to consider moping twice.... once with the vinger water first .. and then the second with regular bleach or plain water....
I add a cap full of Murphy's oil soap to gallon of warm or hot water and use a sponge mop
Vinegar water is the way to go.
It also works great on hardwood floors protected with polyurethane and cabinets too.
use a damp cloth, (not wet) and don't ever mop the floor, like you would with a tiled floor...laminate flooring is only a thin piece of printed plastic glued to mdf or chipboard tongue and groove flooring and will de-laminate and warp if it gets wet, unless it is moisture resistant MDF..I use soapy wood cleaner by johnson, and a capful in a basin of warm water works wonders, another tip would be to use furniture polish afterwards but be careful as it can be slippy if you use too much
