My refrigerator was lying down on it's side for about an hour.. I plugged it in right away..I know now this wa

wrong. If I unplug it and let it set for a couple of days will it work correctly again?

Answers:
You should have let it sit upright for 24-48 hours after it was tipped or on its side. Any gunk that may be in the compressor oil could have travelled to the refrigerant lines and that could possibly create a blockage in the line or lines. Unplug it and let it sit for a while to allow any oil that may have migrated to drain back into the compressor. Then run it as normal. Hopefully nothing got to a line to plug it up.
