I have something wrong near my heat I tried to switch to a digital thermostat and immediately nothing works. The fuses are fine, breaker fine, Heather apparatus no idea, capcitor a moment ago replaced so its new, sequencer/regulator unknown just replaced. Thermostat put vertebrae old one. Turn the bake or ac on no clicks or anything shows nothing. Emergency steam light doesn't even come on. Up stairs the atmosphere handler is getting power tested it and there is power at hand. Main level everything works fine furnace works fine for that rank. It's just up stairs I can no longer catch it to turn on. Any suggestions would be appreciated. If the heat apparatus was impossible would the ac still turn on since you don't need that for ac?
Answers: It sounds resembling you either burned out the control fuse or the control transformer. That can occur if you short out the wires when replacing the thermostat.
double check your wiring on trial thermostat. If it seems correct than you requirement to check voltage with a meter . If you enjoy high voltage and no low voltage from transformer within air handler than you may hold shorted out the transformer. Usually you would turn voltage off when replacing thermostat because if you hit the wrong to wires together you could hold fried the transformer
