Heat proof spray paint for a stove pipe?
Answers: use bbq spray paint from the hardware store.
You are going to have to hunt a bit to find it and cheapest may depend on the price of gas. In any travel case, you are asking for engine paint which comes in mixed colors and says clearly that it is high-ranking temp. There is also an extra high temp which comes contained by only a few colors resembling grey, white and black which is intended for hot pipes including exhaust pipes. You might also ask at auto supply stores.
Good luck finding a paint that will stand up to the heat. Stove polish rubs on, and may be your best bet.
Wal Mart carry it just look for stove paint or BBQ paint.
