Craftsman Rotary meadow mover: grease leach at Air Filter side (#927.378361)?
Answers: Yes, this is a manufacturer problem...you will sure want to nick it back to sear...the only other problem would be if you over chock-full the oil..but, have two of these in the shop not long ago..be the manufacturer....Will cost to procure this fixed...unless you take it subsidise and get it lower than warranty...look under gasoline engines within your local phone book for a sales and service seller...in your nouns..they will tell you alike thing..don't hold it to them..take it to sear..or they will void the warranty unless they authorize the shop to repair...be sure and gain it in writing if they read out another shop can do it!...
Sounds like the grease breather is broken/plugged/other. Its a small flexable tube from the side of the motor, that connects to the airfilter housing. Typically what this is supposed to do is vent gases/pressure from inside the engine while its running , its not supposed to have grease comming from it. Where it attaches to the motor, is usually a small plate with two bolts- near are baffels inside this - it'll most likely entail replacing. You'll need the motor numbers ( on flywheel housing or plate on the motor) to acquire the proper part. It should come near gaskets.
I have a 12HP tecumseh motored tractor that did alike thing - puked grease into the aircleaner assy - replacing the breather fixed the issue.
