Moved to a new apartment in CA. Landlord refuses to repair the telephone line. How does the law apply.?

Answers:
A phone line would not be considered a safety issue and the landlord doesn't have to repair such items. If you need a phone line I would suggest that you call your local telephone service provider and have them install a new line for you.
