Would this be covered by house insurance?

We thought we could smell damp surrounded by our bathroom and removed the tiles around the bath, the walls are soaking and the sea from the shower has be leaking into them.

Plasterboard, tiles etc will adjectives need replacing? Would this be covered by insurance??

Answers:    Yes, it would be covered by homeowners. Check your deductible and next call the claim into your homeowners. They will transport out an adjuster.
The question you are going to enjoy to ask yourself is it cheaper to pay the deductable or cheaper to wage the repair costs.

From your information I would say paying for the repairs yourself would be track cheaper than making a claim.
Is this a new house....usually you will hold a 10 year warranty. Check your warranty book and see if this will be covered under the warranty until that time exploring other options.
