can I repair a crack in a fiberglass swimming pool?

A hairline crack developed near the drain in the deep end of the pool 2 days ago. Pool is about 35,000 gallons. It loses several inches per day.

Answers:
Yes, there is an epoxy putty made just for that, you can do the repair under water. Check with a good pool supplier.

Bondo. and fiberglass. If you're not sure how to do it (it can be done) call a guy from the pool place or a boat shop.

Yes, ask at Home Depot.
If you drain the pool be prepared for it to pop out of the ground! Fiberglass pools must be cross braced before being drained- otherwise the walls can collapse inward. Then the hydrostatic plug has to be pulled and water pumped out from underneath the pool. You'd be far better off calling a fiberglass pool company to do this for you. The risk is too great.
if you are prepared to drain the pool you can use acrylic powder and bonding liquid (woman use it for their nails) or fibre glass resin.
We had cracks in our pool under the water line, the company that installed it for us sent out repair people who simply did the repairs under the water. If you don't know who installed the pool you can find pool repairs company almost anywhere.
