if you own no water you should inform the hotelier or agent straight away and put it in writing. he/she later has 24/48 hours to attain the water backbone on otherwise you can withhold rent until the problem is fixed. if the problem remains unfixed make sure you run to your local authority and complain ASAP. agreements do differ to eachother but in rented property the hotelier is responsable for such things as heating and marine
Even the crappiest landlord should ensure that you hold, at least, cold running hose. Keep contacting him then contact your local council who will advocate and make sure he is doing his position.
Any problems with internal electricity, gas, and hose supply / faults are the responsibility of whoever OWNS the property, unless stated otherwise within the agreement.
I very much doubt you will own to lift a finger to fix it - except picking up the phone and speaking to them.
There's NO WAY you should be without sea for a day, tolerate alone a week if you're in rented lodging. Tell your estate agents you've made an emergency appointment with your legal representative - believe me, that'll get them moving as they won't want the hassle of lawyer getting involved.
Hello. I am curious to know what state you are from, even though you may not want to disclose that information, it really depends on what state you are from because a lot of times, the state have a standardized lease that they go by.
I am a leasing agent contained by Texas and the standardized, general lease if a lease from The Texas Apartment Association (TAA) and their rules and regulations state that if you are incomplete a utility (such as water) you are allowed out of your lease.
It is a major ordeal whenever an apartment complex deprives you of a utility seeing as how those are required to run an apartment complex. So primarily, they are illegal right very soon.
Make sure that they know your disposition and I would take it to a superior authority if action isn't taken by paperwork.
They could get within a lot of trouble if they don't cater to you and your problem near no water.

I'm a Letting Agent and I can categorically state that if the water discharge is coming from the mains afterwards it is the responsibility of the water provider (ie who you discharge your bill to) to come out and repair the pipes. Phone your water provider and they will own an emergency number to contact for out of hours.
It is the Water Board who you have to hope redress from. I believe that as it is a week now in need mains hose, you are entitled to compensation and a reduction on the river charges.
