Insulating attic , how much , and what caring is the best?
Answers: I don't understand the answers recommend blown insulation. As a home owner and not a builder, I hate the stuff. It settles and is a huge mess up in attendance. I overlayed mine with rolled Pink Panther stuff that fit precisely between the rafter. That blown stuff settles and it is the stuff that gets surrounded by my throat when I'm up there.
I'm sure it's easier to install but I sure don't read why it is better. Again, I'm only a home owner and a DIY-er. You guys might know something I don't realize.
I build and I would "blow" up to 38inches. If it have no insulation then "Iceneyne" (Also specified as "Foam Spray") is the best. Start 2inches "Ice" and 36in blown.
