My nouns conditioning part won't turn on!?

I have a 2 year behind the times Whirlpool AC window section that won't turn on. The test/reset buttons work fine, and the little light on the plug lights up, but I can't acquire the actual unit to respond to me at adjectives. I haven't done anything to it since last summer -- no cloying drops, no anything. What could be wrong with it?


Answers:    Test the plug (spread the prongs if want be to fit tighter in the outlet)
Is the outlet getting power; Is a fuse blown. Is the fuse contained by the AC blown; (some have them some don*t)
Have yu checked to see if a bird have a nest in thre or possibly a wasp nest. Unplug it and reach contained by and turn the fan by mitt to be sure it isn*t stuck somehow.
Unplug it and hose it off (if you can arrive at it from outside) then plug it put money on in again.

It sounds like it can merely be a problem with the power supply. But you might want to use a pen or pencil to press the reset button, usually you'll hear a click after you've pressed it surrounded by far enough.
