Answers: What you are describing were in actual fact "lights" for the basement of the premises. They be set into an iron frame and are not available in this form any longer. It is, however, possible to search out glass bricks contained by various forms but I don't know if you can capture anything as small as those glass lights.

Maybe you can check with Home Depot to see if they get it. I've seen "cup block" there, but I'm not sure something like "glass floor bricks".

It sounds like you're conversation about "Glass Block" the most adjectives use is windows but in attendance is an array of uses. You're local Home Depot or Lowe's should carry them (or at most minuscule be able to command them in for you).
