I put a hot plate on our wood kitchen table. It not here 3 white spots.?

I tried lemon oil but it did not work. Any suggestions?

Answers:    If it's solid wood, sand the integral thing hindmost, then re-stain and finish. If it's get only a emaciated a veneer, you're out of luck.

I did the same item myself about 10 years ago - the grades are still there.

Sorry for you. Good luck!
don't be a retard.
take a new table. or return with wood paint to maybe cover it up? or from immediately on put a table cloth on it.
Sounds like it's burned. Try getting some trial wood varnish for it. That should do the trick.
You haven't burned the wood underneath, but you have burned the clear coating finish on top. It is usually a coat of clear lacquer or polyurethane plastic. Use extraordinarily fine sandpaper or #000 Steel Wool and sand/rub the white areas only. Then refinish near some Minwax Varathane finish either satin or make notes on depending on what finish you have in a minute....Good Luck!
I did the same article. Last christmas I set a bowl of food that was thaw on my wood table and when I took it off it made a white spot. If it does not stir away you might have ruined the finish. I call a furniture repair place and he told me I should always use a tablecloth or put chalice on it. I tried everything to fix it and nothing worked. I also have marks from eyeglasses making water results. I was getting moisture underneath the finish of the table. I ended up getting a piece of chalice fit for the top of my table and I am so happy. i never verbs now!!!!
