Kitchen sink and shower slowly approval up but drains?

If I leave the hose down running long enough, my kitchen sink and shower will eventually pay for up and slowly drains. When I stop running the water, it will eventually drain. Since this is taking place for both the kitchen sink and shower, I figure this might be a problem further down the pipeline. I remembered a plumber once blowing out a trap outside the house but I didn't see him do it. I live contained by Silicon Valley, California in travel case there are significant plumbing differences outside of USA. Can someone clued-up with plumbing point me to an article on how to blow out a trap outside my house? Thanks surrounded by advance for any sustain.


Answers:    Kitchen & shower drains are secondary lines & if they are close to respectively other - they may share the line, but what you want is a blow shoulder bag. Liquid plumber is ok if you have standing wet - not so great if it drains.

If they are far from each other, I would project to say that your problem is a biggest line blockage i.e. probably out in your front courtyard (where I would bet you have trees) & roots are the problem.

I would beckon a plumber because if it is taking a bit to back up & slowly draining, I guarantee that it will achieve worse. Anything short of snaking the line is with the sole purpose a temp fix.
Kitchen lines have a build up of food driftwood, shower drains have down - find something that will dissolve hair & it will dissolve the column too.

Use "Liquid-Plumber" Gel, dawdle 15 -30 minutes then flush near hot water for 2 or 3 minutes.
Repeat if needed. No more later 3 times.

Yes, the Liquid Plumber solution may solve the problem. Also, get over the house and look down inside the air vent pipes. Birds will build nests within them. Make sure they are clear of any type of obstruction.
As far as blowing out your trap, one would enjoy to know how the plumbing is actually run, as respectively case could fluctuate.
