how much would u expect to pay a builder to take out a small studwork wall?
Answers:
Well, there's a lot this answer depends upon!
If the wall is supporting (bearing) the stairway, removing it could be a problem. Assuming that it isn't, it will depend on whether or not you hire a reputable, licensed contractor.
I'd expect to pay $35 to $50 per manhour.

These people that answered your question are bloody bonkers man.How can a studded wall be load bearing ??? Hire a skip for a few bags of rubbish you could fit in a car boot ?? And whats bricklaying got to do with a studded wall ? I have been in the Property Repair game for 30 years and without even looking at the job I can say it should not cost more than £100 to remove but that depends on what needs making good after eg: plasterwork, decorating etc ! If you live in Lancashire,England,I will do it for you !
Studed walls are not usually load bearing butthe location of your wall, with it being by the stairs means some of the wood work may well be!! While it should be safe to remove the plasterboard don't remove any of the woodwork unless an expert deems it safe. In answer to the actual question I suppose £400ish would see it (depending on location).
