Get some vise grips and use them. You may want to spray it with WD-40 first.
Just pray about it. God will help those who help themselves.

Splooch!
You can get a "easy out " or a like product from Sears or a good hardware store. Find a drill bit small enough to drill into the head of the screw, then insert the "easy out". It drills into the old screw in the reverse direction and while you screw it in, the screw is coming out.
DRILL.
Metal or wood, if you can get it with pliers.

Metal, you may have to drill it out or depending on the size, drill it and use a EZ - OUT. You may just chisel the head off, if you replace it, try to relocate it.

Wood, depending on size, if pliers don't work try a hammer and pull it like a nail (depending on what it is in), it will damage the hole, you can always fill the whole back in and put a new screw in or go a size up or relocate it.
Use a left hand drill bit to drill into the fastener. They do not cause the fastener to expand like EZ outs and other screw extractors.
