When I finished fine art near my paint brushes, how do I verbs them, and save them soft?

My mom told me to wrap them up in a plastic pod and put in freezer, but I don't wanna do that, I simply wanna keep them verbs and soft... how do you keep em from getting not easy? By the way these brushes I am using to paint my walls within the house.

Answers:    read the label on the can of paint you used.
Use the type cleaner recommended on the paint container. Latex is usually cleaned beside water and soap. I verbs mine and then afterwards, soak them within another batch of the soap and wet for an hour or so to remove residue. Hang them so everything drips out of the bristles.
If they are oil base then you can use mineral spirits ,If you a moment ago want to take a break and not tolerate the brush's dry out then a painter trick is to keep the brush's damp. drop your paint brush into a tall plastic cup beside water surrounded by it. this will keep the brushes from drying out. simply wipe rotten the moisture and keep on sculpture later.
I rinse mine out within hot water, afterwards put them in a fastener lock baggie, it's works good.
I enjoy been a professional house and commercial property painter for 33 yrs and the best path to clean a brush would be, Water if your using latex paint and low odor mineral spirits for an grease based paint. PLENTY of sea, running preferred. Along with a cable brush. 5 gallon bucket if no running water. Dip brush forcefully and fully submurged, verbs out and ring brush by grabbing bristle side and wring bristles upward twoard fiddle with hard.. Do this over and over until no more paint comes out of bristles. Repeat near cleaner water and use the cable brush to clean fundamental where the pedal and the brisltes meet to rid of dry paint on this division. Place handle of brush surrounded by palms of your hands and verbs brush back and forth, This will bring out any ex-es water as the extra river will mold your brush and you will have to bath it all over again. Brush will look approaching it is frayed, grab bristles and smooth out.
Step ONE... buy the BEST brushes you can afford !! Avoid Nylon or Synthetic bristles !!

I hold a dozen "PURDY" brushes of different sizes and shapes (half of them are a decade old)... SAVE the cardboard "holsters" they come with.

Step TWO... CLEAN them follow the directions for the paint you're using (soap & hose for latex / acrylic, mineral spirits for Oil based paints)... next clean them AGAIN.

Step THREE... buy a "brush comb"... a rope comb that helps verbs the bristles straight. After you've cleaned them and brushed them... HANG them (or put back contained by their "Holsters"

I also use shampoo and conditioner (seriously) on my natural quill brushes. Especially after using mineral spirits... it restores the natural "oils".

If you're using the "Home-Depot/Lowes" type $2 brushes... throw them out after respectively use !!

Good Luck
If your using latex paint the easiest way is to permeate a bucket with going on for a gallon of water and include a tablespoon (doesn't have to be exact simply a small amount thought) of any liquid cloth softener. Let set about a minute and afterwards swish around for a minute and make sure adjectives paint is off pedal and where bristles connect. Rinse beside cool water and smooth bristles and sway up to dry. When dry either rewrap surrounded by original cardboard or daily to store
