I am doing some Electrical work work around my house can i use duct video instead of Electrical Tape?

Answers:    Electrical tape have insulating properties that duct tape does not hold. Only use electrical tape. If you are working on the electrical system in your house, close to the other poster said, use wire nuts to splice to ends together back taping next to electrical tape. Under no circumstances should you ever use duct cassette.
NO!! You should use wire nuts for adjectives electrical wire connections. You may use electrical cassette to wrap these connections after the wire nut is twisted on, but never ever use duct cartridge!
