My grease stove doesn't stay on?

My dad thinks it get run dry last spring, so he think that if we just keep hold of reseting it, it will suck in satisfactory fuel to start, but we've reset it a bunch of times, and it starts, but then shuts rotten again. Is there anyway I can bleed the string, or is something else going on?

Answers:    if it never ignites nearby is some kind of problem....to bleed the grease line...near is bleeder port on the pump ..will be a plug with a hole within the center of it...usually on the bottom of pump....you loosen this up until oil comes out of it afterwards tighten back up....is the furnace basically running until the safety knock or does it ignite and will only burn a few secons and afterwards knocks the reset switch....
Could be a doomed to failure thermocouple. It senses the temperature to enlighten it to stay on or go bad.
I had like peas in a pod problem last year. It especially well could be that the lines stipulation to be bled, but could also be that the jets are clogged. If you run it dry, it could've sucked the gunk out of the bottom of the tank. It wasn't enormously expensive to have fixed and sometimes the grease company will do it when they come out & fill your reservoir, but usually you have to ask.
Mine charged an extra 25.00
