we're having stone (rectangle shape,1 side's flat,1 side have bullnose) installed around our circular inground spa to hide the white vinyl things the spa is made out of. Well the installer laid the stone out so that there is a bullnose circumference on the outside of the spa and a bullnose edge on the inside of the spa. Yes from far away, this looks suitable. However, the installer overhung the stone on the inside of the spa (yes where you sit) 2 inches olden the interior edge of the vinyl. You might construe this is not a problem but if you sit in it, you will touch the stone sticking at your shoulder or neck depending on how elevated you are. I am short statured and I objected to have stones sticking at my neck. However, he claims that this is how stones are in general laid out on the inside. From most of the pool and spa idea books I've see, the stones are laid flush on the inside. I can see the overhanging the stones a bit but not more than half an inch. What do you give attention to?Flush or overhung by how far?
Answers: Flush with out a doubt, emergency they move them,don't let them walk off or pay them until they lay the stone the instrument you want it not the way they ponder it should be or you will never see them again. Who wants stone piercing them within the back or within the neck when your trying to relax. Stone layer for pools are famous for lay it the way they approaching it.
